You Have Purpose
God, our incredible Creator, designed the most magnificent Earth for human beings to dwell in, wouldn’t you agree? If you could look at the globe and see all the intricate details from a distance, you would notice the world is beautifully speckled with nearly four billion women. That is almost half of the world’s population. This is significant for two reasons: 1) we are many, and 2) we have a purpose.
This blog was created to help women find God's will for their lives, and what better place to start than by talking about our purpose?
No matter the location, age, race, physical or mental ability, social or financial status, or any other variant, one thing holds for every woman: she has purpose! I can attest to this beautiful truth with my own story.
I know all too well the struggle a woman feels when the odds seem stacked against her because I've been there too. However, I have also experienced the steadfast faithfulness of God, who has honored my search for His purpose for my life. And friends, ladies, sisters in Christ, when you are intentionally searching for God’s will for your own life, He will be as faithful to answer you as He has answered me.
There is no greater peace and contentment than to know you are fulfilling God’s purpose for your life. It will not look the same as your neighbor’s purpose, your sister’s purpose, or anyone else’s purpose. It is uniquely tailored for you! When women fully embrace and live out their God-given purpose, bringing those elements together with millions of other women creates a complete organism that revolutionizes the world! Each functioning part is different, and each part is necessary!
Scripture uses the perfect example of God’s will for each of His children unified for His purpose. 1 Corinthians 12:15-19 says, “If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be?”
You are part of the body of Christ, made up of His many children from all walks of life, possessing different talents, abilities, skills, strengths, and passions. He knows you better than you know yourself and has the perfect position for you to live out His will for you with blessed purpose and fulfillment that is only truly complete in Him.
Romans 12:1-2 shares the secret to finding purpose, which says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Allow these words to become your desire and testimony! God has a plan for your life, and I want to let you know His plan is perfect! I am honored to be a willing instrument to help you find your fulfillment in Him!
