About Me
I was born to Haitian parents on the beautiful island of Nassau, Bahamas, but I grew up in a shantytown in Abaco, Bahamas. The odds of succeeding were against me as I was a poor Haitian girl who started school at ten with zero knowledge of the English language.
The prospects of surviving poverty and discrimination were bleak, but I knew God was leading me at a very young age. My teachers, mentor, and determination to succeed pushed me to excel academically.
